The PCS-9710S Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) can be flexibly and securely integrated for power system and industrial system infrastructure construction and retrofit. The PCS-9710S is a microprocessor-controlled electronic device that interconnects objects in the physical world to one or multiple higher-level monitoring and control systems. It adopts an object-oriented design with a unified software and hardware platforms which supports the access via AC & DC analogue sampling, configurable binary inputs and outputs, programmable logic, etc. with nearly all kinds of intelligent devices of NR Electric and third parties. It supports numerous common protocols of electric power and industrial industries, such as IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 60870-5-103, DNP3, Modbus, etc. Furthermore, with the processing capability, the PCS-9710S can runs as a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) for a flexible and versatile signal operations.
