Pt.NR Electric Jakarta (NR Jakarta), the Indonesian subsidiary of NR Electric, has successfully passed the ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 management system certifications. This milestone is a solid step in implementing NR high-quality localization strategy in Indonesian market.
Since established in 2012, NR Jakarta committed to serving the local society and creating value for customers. With the support of NR Nanjing Headquarters, the NR Jakarta has actively implemented the localization manufacturing strategy, and built the facility of assembly, manufacturing and test workshop with high standards, in reference to the Nanjing IED factory. All these activity and achievement have been widely recognized by the Indonesian market and local customers.
In order to further standardize the operation and management, NR Jakarta started to implement the ISO quality, environment, occupational health and safety management system certification. SGS, an internationally recognized inspection, appraisal, testing and certification agency, is invited to carried out the certification. We worked together with SGS to standardize the business process in practical work, strengthen internal management, improve the production quality in accordance with Indonesian government regulations & local industry norms.
From March 18 to March 20, SGS expert team carried out ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standard factory audit in NR Jakarta. They comprehensively checked the compliance, suitability and continuous effectiveness of the construction of quality, environment, occupational health and safety management system. With the cooperation of NR Jakarta team, SGS expert group audited the implementation of management system in detail by means of work site investigation, system document inquiry, process record check, oral inquiry from the employees. The SGS audit team finally unanimously passed all three standards implementation certifications for NR Jakarta.
The cetification is an important milestone for the NR localization strategy. NR Jakarta will continuously improve its operation and management standard, and provide high quility products and services for Indonesian customers.
