As the EPC contractor of the station, NR includes all design, procurement, civil engineering, installation and commissioning of SVC system. NR provides a complete set of substation equipment including transformer, 225 kV circuit breaker and disconnector, TCR reactor, valve, water cooling, protection & control, and other overall solutions.

The 225kV Matam substation is located in the northeast of Senegal, which is the key node of the power interconnection project between Senegal and Mali. It is the key planning station of the backbone transmission network of the WAPP. The smooth operation of the SVC station effectively guarantees the stability of the power grid in the region, improves the power supply among countries, and provides a reliable guarantee for the power interconnection among the countries of the Western Community. After the SVC of Matam Station is put into operation, it operates stably. The automatic regulation of reactive power output ensures the voltage stability of 225kV bus, which solves the voltage fluctuation problem that has puzzled users for a long time.
